ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Gardener to join our team for the 2026 season. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in detail, and loves being outside.

You’ll be working on a variety of residential properties, helping maintain and enhance gardens throughout the season.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining residential gardens with attention to detail (weeding, pruning, general upkeep)

  • Performing property maintenance tasks such as sweeping and leaf blowing

  • Planting, watering, and installing soil amendments (compost, mulch, landscaping rock)

  • Supporting the overall health, appearance, and cleanliness of outdoor spaces

  • Delivering consistent, high-quality work for our clients


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Physically able to lift, bend, kneel, and be on your feet all day

  • Attention to detail (this is a big one for us!)

  • Interest in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is a must (to get between sites during the work day)

  • Previous gardening/landscaping experience is an asset but not required—we’re happy to train the right person


WHAT WE OFFER

  • Supportive, positive work environment

  • Competitive hourly wage – starts at $20 an hour (based on experience)

  • Consistent daytime hours Monday to Friday (seasonal role – May – Oct.)

  • Part-time (20–30 hours/week expected, not guaranteed)

  • Potential for additional hours during peak spring season (if desired)

  • Opportunity to grow with a small, values-driven company


BONUS IF YOU HAVE

  • Plant knowledge (especially perennials/shrubs for Zone 3/4)

  • Experience with garden design or installs

  • Passion for sustainability and ecological gardening
